– Canon LIDE 30 drivers – Microsoft Community

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. When I open the CanoScan Toolbox and hit Scan-1 the following opens up and when I click on Scan I get a warning message appear that says, “Specifies the program where the scanned image is transferred” with an “OK” button.

I tried one in the CanoScan folder but nothing happened. I don’t know what to do or where to go after this. Please advise if you can lend some assistance. I tried selecting Troubleshoot compatibilility but didn’t get anywhere with that.

There were two avaibable drivers downloads I was unable to download anything from the x64 version. If compatibility mode didn’t work, you’re probably not going to get the scanner to work in Windows 10 without the aforementioned VueScan software.

Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. The latest full driver set for the scanner is for Windows XP.

You can try installing the drivers in compatibility mode right-click on the installer file and select Troubleshoot compatibility and if that doesn’t work, you can get VueScan , which isn’t free, but it’s brought many old scanners back to life.

In reply to Reza Ameri’s post on March 18, In reply to JimWynne’s post on March 18, In reply to RWolkowski’s post on March 18, Also, when I select any of the buttons on the CanoScan Toolbox, a box pops up that wants me to select a source, but there are no selections to choose from. In reply to JimWynne’s post on March 19, I am not sure of what to do when I see the Compatibility Mode.

Perhaps I did something wrong?? In reply to RWolkowski’s post on March 19, Good point! It’s too old as it didn’t even work on Win7 properly. This site in other languages x.

One moment, please.

It works on my Macbook with Catalina OS!!!! Senta Schuijers. My scanner now works so much better than it did originally that I am incredulous.
