Show the ruler in Microsoft Word

 

Pete, please reread the original post. Joe is not having any trouble displaying the vertical ruler. The problem is that dragging the margin mark on the ruler isn’t changing the margin setting of his document. Joe, the margins on the vertical ruler should work the same in Word as in Word If that works, then the ruler’s problem may be related to your display options.

When clicking on the vertical ruler, this creates a dotted line across the page but this has no effect on the height.
